Why I am building AI BURRO
I needed it myself.
Before there was a platform, there was a question: where does my experience fit as AI changes work?
Experience doesn’t remove uncertainty
Through years of building businesses, I have learned what it means to build something, lead a team, serve enterprise customers and take responsibility when things get difficult. I have worked across print on demand, software, operations and business development. Yet that experience has not protected me from wondering where I fit as AI changes the way we work.
Some of that uncertainty is professional. Will employers understand the value of everything I have done? Which parts of my experience will matter next? How do I show that I can help a company use AI well? Some of it is personal. I think about my wife, my family and the future I want to build with them. Those questions carry more weight than a job title.
Learning more. Looking for connection.
I spend a lot of time learning AI tools and systems. I try new approaches, connect ideas and look for practical applications. There is always another release, another capability, another thing I feel I should understand. Even when I am making progress, it can feel as though I am never learning enough.
I recently graduated, and changing careers has been a long, brutal process. I have more than 12,000 LinkedIn connections, but I can still feel professionally alone. A large network does not automatically create a real conversation, a meaningful opportunity or someone who understands what I can contribute.
Building the next chapter
That experience helped shape EmailIQ and MyLiveIQ. I want EmailIQ to help make sense of the career journey buried in applications and messages. I want MyLiveIQ to help turn professional visibility into meaningful working relationships. These are the outcomes I am building toward, informed by problems I have experienced myself.
AI BURRO began with fear about my own career. Building it has become part of my next career chapter. As Customer #1, I want to understand my strengths, face the gaps honestly and choose a direction I can act on. I want the platform to help other people do that too—with useful evidence, thoughtful guidance and a next step that feels possible.
